Lowering Your Power for Transfer

Two separate problems. Two different systems. Confusing them is the most common — and most expensive — mistake players make before a transfer window.

Problem 1
Transfer Score
Decides how many passes you pay. Calculated from a snapshot the game takes before the event opens. Once locked, nothing you do changes it.

Power Cap
Decides whether you can enter without a Special Invite. Checked against your live power at the moment you actually transfer — not the snapshot.

Not included in your Transfer Score at all. Dismissing troops will never reduce your pass cost — but they do count toward the Power Cap check.

How to lower your power
Before the snapshot — lowers both score and cap

Unequip all hero gear
Remove gear from every hero. You still own it — it sits in your inventory. Re-equip everything once you've landed in 3156.
Fully reversible Reduces pass cost Reduces cap power

Reset hero levels in Drill Camp
Reset each hero to Lv.1 in the Drill Camp. You get all leveling materials back. Re-level after you arrive.

During the event — lowers cap only, not score

Unequip hero gear (still works)
Missed the snapshot? Unequipping hero gear during the event still reduces your live power for the cap check. It won't change your pass count, but it can get you under the line.

Reset hero levels (still works)
Same as above — resetting hero levels during the event reduces your live power for the cap.

Dismiss troops — only if you have no other option
If steps 1–4 aren't enough to clear the cap, you'll need to dismiss troops. This is permanent until you retrain. Dismiss your lowest tiers first — they're cheapest to rebuild.

Troops in hospital & Enlistment Office still count

Injured troops and reserves in the Enlistment Office are both included in your cap power number. You cannot hide them — they must be dismissed to drop your power.

Don't trust your profile power. The number on the transfer page itself is the one that matters.

Short version
SAVE PASSES Reset hero levels and unequip hero gear before the snapshot. Everything after that is too late.
CLEAR THE CAP Unequip hero gear and reset hero levels first — both work during the event. Only dismiss troops if you still can't get under.
